NVRDC is a victim service provider seeking to empower crime victims in the nation’s capital through a collaborative approach by providing comprehensive services through community-based education, therapeutic and legal support in order to achieve justice and encourage self-determination. With a strategically structured shared-leadership model, NVRDC’s co-executive directors, Nikki Charles and Bridgette Harwood, bring a plethora of experience in a variety of victim service areas. NVRDC’s direct services include comprehensive case management with therapeutic and victim advocacy, civil legal services and criminal legal services. It is with these unique comprehensive services and organizational models that NVRDC strives to assist all victims of crime in the District throughout the entirety of the recovery process.
